Prior to joining St. James's Place I spent 20 years working in Global Investment Banks and Hedge Funds, predominantly trading Equities and other asset classes. As a consequence, I have now established many working relationships with individuals within this sector due, in part, to the insight and understanding that I have for their specific financial requirements – whether these be personal or corporate.

I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that I am able offer a rounded, professional and principled service.
Outside of my business, I enjoy tennis and cycling with my children and I am a keen martial artist, currently Head Instructor (3rd Dan), in Choi Kwang Do.
Background
After gaining BSc in Financial Economics, I joined Morgan Stanley on their European Equity trading floor for 5-years. I then moved across to the 'Client' side and began building a career working with some of the biggest and best known Hedge Funds including Lansdowne Partners, Eton Park and Moore Capital. My final stint in the City was with Societe Generale as Head of Trading for their Proprietary Trading desk in London. I decided to put my enthusiasm for Financial Advice to good use and accepted a place in the prestigious St. James's Place Academy and haven't looked back since.
